Celebrity Redo: Britney Spears

Either Britney doesn’t have a stylist or she shares the same one with Jessica Simpson! While she exudes that perfect blend of adorable and sexy, it’s hard not to be mean when it comes to her sense of style (and being mean is just not my style!). So, I’ll just get right to the redo. I switched her shorts for white skinny jeans and added a plaid jacket to maintain a theme for the outfit. To round things out I gave her some pumps and a funky clutch. Best thing about the outfit is that it’s all under $100! What do you think of Britney’s fashion sense? How would you have dressed her?

Heart & Soul Plaid Jacket - $21 (originally $42) at Kohls.com
Long Length Ribbed Tank - $3.50 at Forever21.com
Skinny 77 Jean - $24.95 (originally $49.50) at AE.com
Clutch Tote - $19.99 at Target.com
Charcoal Zipper Closed Toe Platform Pump – $24.99 at Amiclubwear.com

First of all, I’m not a fan of turtlenecks – they manage to make your neck look very stumpy, and somewhat awkward; so I love the fact that you lost it. The plaid jacket you selected is so adorable; and the pumps are amazing. This redo is marv!

I LOVE this outfit (the redo, not the original)! It’s casual yet pulled-together. As a single working mom (like Britney) I know how hard it is to look cute and pulled together without having a lot of time. She definitely has the legs to pull off short-shorts, but your outfit is much more hip mama. I’m off to buy every one of these pieces!
Oh, Britney…a turtleneck with shorts?
I love your redo. Even though I’m still not into the plaid thing (been there, done that) I do like how you stuck with the trends in Brit’s outfit and updated them. The belted jacket is really cute! Adding white basics and a coordinated clutch tote makes it totally classy.
Like I said, I love it!

I think that she looks cute and besides I am sorry she has been through a lot and needs to be left alone.
