Celebrity Redo: Jessica Alba

I usually love Jessica’s outfits, but this one just doesn’t do anything for  her.  The gray skirt paired with that purplish cardigan just makes her look washed out (particularly against her blonde hair, which is a tad too light in my opinion).  So, I swapped out the gray skirt for a vintage-looking tapestry pocket skirt and picked a cardigan with a darker shade.  What do you think of Jessica’s outfit (or hair for that matter)?

Celebrity Redo: Charlize Theron

Charlize was clearly trying to go for the laid-back red carpet look,but it just didn’t work (a bit sloppy and definitely unflattering). For the redo, I kept her in black but used a strapless sexy cocktail dress with a pair of funky cuffed platforms for some edge.  What do you think Of Chalize’s outfit?

I love Natalie Portman’s style and there’s absolutely nothing wrong with any of the pieces.  But the ensemble as a whole makes her look frumpy.  I put together an outfit that stays true to her look but incorporates pieces that add some spunk and sex appeal.  Hope you like it!  What do you think of Natalie’s look?

Celebrity Redo: Drew Barrymore

What is up with Drew’s closet lately?  Yes, she’s gorgeous and has great style, but it seems like her outfits have gone from cool and quirky to down right silly.  While this outfit isn’t terrible, it’s still a “off.”  The skinny jeans are overly rolled up and the shirt is totally shapeless.  I kept within her outfit’s “theme” but swapped out her button down for a more flattering scoop neckline that ties at the side.  I also kept her skinny jeans but threw in some fierce white platform sandals.  Hope you like it!  What do you think of Drew’s outfit?

Celebrity Redo: Halle Berry

The gorgeous Halle Berry out for dinner but looking like she’s ready for a play-date at the park.  It’s a cute outfit; I just wish she snazzed it up a bit for the dinner environment.  So, I pretty much scrapped the entire outfit and re-dressed her in linen slacks, a white tank and a wrap top.  I kept her jewelry at a minimum but couldn’t help myself and added Alex and Ani bracelets that are well worth the investment.  What do you think of Halle’s look?

Celebrity Redo: Eva Longoria

I’m not going to trash Eva because the girl looks fine 99.9% of the time.   And the dress isn’t really ugly; it just has this grandma-vibe to it.  So I swapped out the flowered wrap dress for a sexy but simple tube dress.  I also  added a funky red clutch (that I LOVE) which can also be used as a cross bodybag and kept within the look of her accessories.  What do you think of Eva’s look….hot or not?

Celebrity Redo: Beyonce Knowles

Shoes hot.  Shorts cute.  But when put together with a safari-like jacket it just doesn’t work for the everyday gal.  Beyonce looks great, of course, but the outfit just seems too Hollywood. The shoes are a bit overpowering for the outfit and the shorts simply look out of place.  So I went ahead and swapped Beyonce’s denim shorts for a denim pencil skirt and added shoes that were more understated.  What do you think of Beyonce’s outfit?

Celebrity Redo: Rachel Zoe

There’s nothing wrong with Rachel Zoe’s outfit (other than the t-shirt being a bit too long) and I’m not trying to provide a “look for less” post.  I’m just a fan of her style and wanted to have some fun re-doing her outfit.  I truly love each and every single piece in this post, from the bat wing leather jacket and lace top to the flared jeans.  What do you think of Rachel’s outfit?  Would you want to wear it as is or would you have changed it up a bit too?

Celebrity Redo: Britney Spears

Either Britney doesn’t have a stylist or she shares the same one with Jessica Simpson!  While she exudes that perfect  blend of adorable and sexy, it’s hard not to be mean when it comes to her sense of style (and being mean is just not my style!).  So, I’ll just get right to the redo.  I switched her shorts for white skinny jeans and added a plaid jacket  to maintain a theme for the outfit.  To round things out I gave her some pumps and a funky clutch.  Best thing about the outfit is that it’s all under $100!  What do you think of Britney’s fashion sense?
