My Safety Pin Secret

I’m a curvy girl and I’ve grown to appreciate my angles over the years. So when it comes to finding clothes that fit me I know which cuts and fabrics work for my shape. But every now and then I come across the perfect top, dress, skirt or even a blazer or dowdy cardigan that just won’t fit the way I want! The solution to this dilemma is what I call my safety pin secret. I have them in ALL sizes imaginable and I use them to add ruching to just about anything that needs a little adjusting. Ideally one large saftey pin does the trick, but for the most part two large safety pins on each side work best. Each pin should be pushed through 2-3 times (makes a huge difference!).On dresses that don’t flow with my curves I gather the hem only at the sides and pin. And since I LOVE the super flattering 3/4 sleeve, the same goes with just about any top and blazer (must be knit or thin). It’s not always easy to get it right but when you do it’s a life saver!!
U by Kotex* products come in a variety of absorbencies and sizes, so you’re covered whether your flow is heavy or you just need backup protection.
