Celebrity Redo: Jessica Alba

I usually love Jessica’s outfits, but this one just doesn’t do anything for  her.  The gray skirt paired with that purplish cardigan just makes her look washed out (particularly against her blonde hair, which is a tad too light in my opinion).  So, I swapped out the gray skirt for a vintage-looking tapestry pocket skirt and picked a cardigan with a darker shade.  What do you think of Jessica’s outfit (or hair for that matter)?

Celebrity Redo: Get Jessica Alba’s Look for Less!

Jessica Alba’s lighter hair definitely gives her a more vibrant look, but I think her outfit ages her a bit.  I decided to swap out her high waisted straight legs with flared jeans for a more fun look.  I also replaced the white button down with a simple white tank for a more airy feel and wrapped it up with a cropped jacket.  I even decided to switch out Jessica’s leopard print bag (it’s just not my style).  Lastly, to balance out the flared jeans, I threw in a pair of t strapped platforms.  The overall outfit is a bit pricey but each piece is extremely versatile (examples below). I think Jessica Alba is one of the cutest dressed mom’s in Hollywood.  She always manages to stay comfy and look fab even when running around with her baby.  I picked this outfit because of the variety of options each piece has to offer.  The dress can be worn alone with sandals this Summer;  the boots and cardigan can be worn with jeans or a skirt and the leggings with a tunic or a different dress.   Get Jessica’s look for less………
