Beyonce is the perfect example of what happens when you wear too many trendy items all at once – it’s way too hectic and even great pieces look bad. To tone down the outfit, I swapped the caged heels for a simpler pair of caged-styled platform’s. To give the outfit a softer look, I traded in the fitted tank for the slub twist knot tank. Maybe even add some diamonds to the outfit, if you’re looking for just a little more flash. Tasteful and subtle jewelry can be a great touch when applied properly. Hope you like it!

Love Katherine Hiegl’s Spring chic look! This is another one of those outfits that offers a ton of possibilities: The cardigan can be worn over a dress for a more comfy look and even used to replace a jacket for the office. The white shirt goes with everything (skirts, shorts or slacks). I can totally see the boots paired with a denim skirt or a dress; and let’s not forget the adorable yellow bag – the perfect way to add color to any outfit. While the items alone are bit pricier, they offer such transferability to other pieces in your closet that I sincerely believe they are worth the investment and will, in the end, stretch your dollar by expanding your options.
