Erika Hendrix: Clothes and Accessories for Unique and Stylish People

I was looking through Erika’s Fall line (see below) and fell in love this adorable high-waist tulip skirt with pockets (I’m a sucker for pockets!).  I immediately envisioned the striped skirt with wedges, a simple tank and a cropped denim jacket.

That’s what I love about Erika’s designs: each piece is casual and chic with just the right amount of “classic” to dress up or down.

Erika integrates femininity and tomboyish looks into her designs, and offers a wide array of skirts, dresses, hooded sweaters, and accessories.

The incredibly talented designer behind the Erika Hendrix line is Erika Bates, who hails from Manheim, Germany.  the new collection, entitled “A FashionTale,” drops on August 5, 2009.  Erika managed to snag the season two runner-up of Germany’s Next Top Model, Anni Wendler, for the promotional campaign. Prices range from 35-140EUR, which translates into $49-196 USD. Shipping is available worldwide via her website www.erikahendrix.com, and pre-sale orders are currently available for the fall/winter collection on her website as well.

Some of my favorites from the Erika Hendrix Fall line below.

Celebrity Copycat: Tori Spelling

Tori Spelling at the Last House on the Left premiere. Her style often see-saws between gawdy and great, and this time she is definitely on an upswing with a cropped leather jacket and jeans. Not sure what type of shoes she’s wearing, but I found these flowered platforms and immediately fell in love (even though they’re a bit pricey)!

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale

July 13, 2008 by admin
Filed under Fashion Tips & Finds

I just got my Nordstrom Anniversary Sale (starting July 18) magazine.  It’s filled with everything you’ll need to look great this fall.  I already have my eye on the Steve Madden slouch boots ($99.90) and a cute wedge bootie by Report ($49.90). A lot of people shy away from them because they feel they are too pricey.  Well they are but…they have some of the biggest, best sales every year.  I spent about 10 years working for Nordstrom and I witnessed first hand the insanity that occurs whenever they have a sale.  So mark your calendars and dust off your credit cards (better yet get yourself a Nordstrom one they give bonus point’s) and get ready to shop.  Don’t be afraid to shop online their return policy is UNBEATABLE!!!!
